About Us

Scientia started trading in February 2008 and was formed by Chris Keene. Chris has worked in the London market for over twenty years and in particular as a regulator for Lloyd's and the FSA. The company was formed to provide compliance and risk management solutions for different sizes of brokers but particularly to utilize Chris's 'inside' knowledge of the FSA regime and its workings and practices.

Chris has been providing compliance and consulting services since November 2003. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Broker. For further information on his experience and expertise click here.

Chris says "No-one can guarantee that they know what the FSA is going to do or what action it is going to take. However having worked in Canary Wharf and been a regulator at Lloyd's I would like to think that my mind has been 'trained' to think as a regulator! Coupled with my market experience of having worked with brokers over a number of years I would like to think that my skill set is fairly unique in being able to provide compliance advice".
